DRIVING IN THE BAHAMAS
~ In the Bahamas they drive at the left hand side of the road.
~ The speed limit for cars is 20 mph (32km/hr) in built up areas and 45 mph (72km/hr) outside the built up areas
~ Seatbelts are mandatory
~ You are not allowed to use a mobile phone whilst driving unless you use a handsfree system.
~ Whilst driving drivers are to carry always, a valid driver's licence, insurance documents and registration documents
~ Most of the petrol stations are daily open from 7am till 7pm.
~ Roads in the Bahamas are rated as good.
MUST VISIT
When you visit the Bahamas there is a lot to enjoy, like the beautiful weather, endless beaches and cristal clear seawater. But once you have your rental car you really should visit places and beaches like:~ Explore Nassau Downtown, ~ Nassau Straw Market, ~ Tour Fort Fincastle, ~ Freeport, ~ Clifton Heritage National Park, ~ Cigar factory Graycliff Cigar Co. , ~ Junkanoo Beach, ~ Paradise Island, ~ Etc.
